Fresh Start is currently accepting applications for an overnight shelter worker position. This is a part time position of approx 16 hours per week and will include one weekend night. Hours are 11:45pm- 7:45am. Tasks include maintaining the safety of the shelter, being available for residents as needed, and light cleaning and stocking. There is a link to the application below. Internships can help you develop your experience in non-profits by learning the ropes from more experienced professionals. At the end of your internship, you’ll have relevant experience to help you decide if a career in the non-profit industry is the right choice for you. At a smaller non-profit like Fresh Start, you’ll have an opportunity to see your projects go from start to finish.
