Passion. That’s the common attribute of those who work for our organization.
Employment Opportunities
We do not currently have any employment opportunities available. Check back, or follow our Facebook or LinkedIn pages for most up to date news.
Volunteer Opportunities
We often have volunteer opportunities, including office assistance, one day projects, The Daisy, or a leadership committee. To learn more about volunteer opportunities, please contact lacreshab@freshstarthome.org.
The Daisy currently seeks individuals or groups to assist with sorting on a regular basis on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. This could be during the afternoon or evening hours. There are also opportunities to work in the shop.
Internships
Internships can help you develop your experience in non-profits by learning the ropes from more experienced professionals. At the end of your internship, you’ll have relevant experience to help you decide if a career in the non-profit industry is the right choice for you. At a smaller non-profit like Fresh Start, you’ll have an opportunity to see your projects go from start to finish. These are unpaid positions.
Intern applications are currently being accepted for:
Marketing and Events Intern: Assist with marketing, PR, community engagement, and event planning tasks. Contact Development Director LaCresha Brooks at lacreshab@freshstarthome.org for more information.
Case Aide Intern: Assist with a myriad of tasks related to shelter operations and case management. Contact Associate Executive Director Meg Damme at megd@freshstarthome.org for more information.
We are dedicated to helping the people who utilize our services. If you’re ready to make a difference, upload your resume and tell us your interests. We’ll consider you for future opportunities.
